Laurentina & The Fuzz started as a joke. A silly Instagram photoshoot with me and my family’s Siamese cat, Fred, transformed into a running narrative on a fictional half-feline, half-human band—the focus of letters, drawings, and journal entries as I finalized my place in Dublin City University’s Class of 2025. Now, it’s a Substack where I’m sharing my journey as a first-generation student, a former food critic, a music writer, a Midwesterner relocating to Europe, and (above all) a girl who loves her cat.
